Harahara Nanoka (2017 Film)

Harahara Nanoka (Japanese: はらはらなのか。) is a 2017 Japanese film directed and written by Mai Sakai. The film follows the story of an aspiring child actress named Nanoka, portrayed by Nanoka Hara, who attempts to emulate the career of her late mother. The narrative centers on her efforts to secure a role in a stage play that her mother once performed.

Production and Release

The film was produced by Arihiro Wada and Tsuyoshi Toyama, with cinematography by Moritada Iju. It held its world premiere on March 4, 2017, as part of the "Yubari Choice" section at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. The film received a general theatrical release in Japan on April 1, 2017, and was distributed by Spotted Productions. It has a total runtime of 100 minutes.
