Gravity's Clowns (Japanese: 重力ピエロ, Hepburn: Jyuryoku Pierrot) is a 2009 Japanese drama film directed by Junichi Mori. The screenplay was written by Tomoko Aizawa, based on the novel of the same name by Kotaro Isaka. The film is set in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.

The film was produced by Miyako Araki and Keiichiro Moriya and distributed by Asmik Ace Entertainment. It was released in Japanese theaters on May 23, 2009, with a runtime of 119 minutes. The production utilized various locations within Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.

Reception and Awards

Masaki Okada received recognition for his performance in the film, winning several "Best Newcomer" or "Rookie of the Year" awards, including at the 22nd Nikkan Sports Film Awards, the 52nd Blue Ribbon Awards, and the 33rd Japan Academy Prize. The film was also screened at the 11th Jeonju International Film Festival in 2010.
