Good Job (South Korean Television Series)

Good Job is a South Korean television series that aired in 2022. The drama follows the investigative partnership between a wealthy corporate executive who moonlights as a private detective and a woman possessing the ability of hyperacuity.

Plot

Eun Seon-woo (played by Jung Il-woo) is a wealthy and intelligent individual who runs the Eun Kang Group. Beyond his corporate responsibilities, he operates a private detective agency. Don Se-ra (played by Kwon Yuri) is a woman born with hyperacuity. To manage her condition, she frequently wears glasses. Despite her financial struggles, she is known for her helpful nature. The series focuses on the pair as they collaborate on various investigations, leading to the development of a romantic relationship.

Production

The series was directed by Ryu Seung-jin with a script written by Kim Jung-ae. Production began with the first script reading in early May 2022, followed by the commencement of filming on May 10, 2022. The show aired on the ENA network, as well as on Olleh TV and Seezn. It occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 21:00 time slot, following the conclusion of Extraordinary Attorney Woo and preceding Love is for Suckers.

Cast

The main cast features Jung Il-woo and Kwon Yuri, who had previously collaborated on the 2021 MBN drama Bossam: Steal the Fate. Supporting cast members include Eum Moon-suk as Yang Jin-mo, a lawyer working with the detective office, and various actors portraying employees of the Eunkang Group and other associated characters.
