Godan (Japanese TV Series)
Godan (Japanese: 誤断) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on the WOWOW network in 2015. The series, which consists of six episodes, is based on the novel of the same name written by Shunichi Doba and published by Chuokoron-Shinsha in 2014.

Plot
The story follows Takahiro Makita, an employee in the public relations department of a major pharmaceutical company. After witnessing a suicide attempt at a train station, he is tasked by the company's Vice President, Takao Anjo, to investigate the incident. The company is currently navigating a precarious financial situation and is in the midst of negotiating a merger with foreign investors. Makita discovers that a drug manufactured by his company may be linked to the suicide, creating a significant ethical and legal dilemma for the firm as it attempts to conceal potential side effects.
