Gegege no Nyobo is a Japanese television drama series that aired on NHK from March 29 to September 25, 2010. The series is part of the network's long-running asadora (morning drama) programming block. It consists of 156 episodes, each with a 15-minute runtime, broadcast Monday through Saturday.

Background and Production

The series is based on the 2008 autobiography of the same name written by Nunoe Mura. The narrative chronicles the life and marriage of Nunoe Mura and her husband, the renowned manga artist Shigeru Mizuki, best known for his series Gegege no Kitaro. The drama focuses on the couple's early struggles, their relationship, and the challenges they faced before Mizuki achieved professional success.
