Gakko no Kaidan (Japanese: 学校のカイダン) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on Nippon TV (NTV) from January 10 to March 14, 2015. The series, which consists of 10 episodes, follows the story of a high school student who becomes an unlikely leader in a struggle to reform her school's environment.
Plot
Tsubame Haruna, played by Suzu Hirose, is a high school student who prefers to remain unnoticed and is often overly concerned with the perceptions of others. Her life changes when she is pressured into becoming the student council president. During her tenure, she encounters Kei Shizukui, portrayed by Ryunosuke Kamiki, a talented speechwriter. With Shizukui's guidance, Haruna begins to use the power of speech to challenge the status quo and address corruption within her school.
