Frontline (Japanese: フロントライン) is a 2025 Japanese drama film directed by Kosai Sekine. The film dramatizes the emergency medical response to the COVID-19 outbreak aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which was quarantined at the Port of Yokohama in February 2020.

Plot
Set in February 2020, the narrative follows the arrival of a luxury cruise ship at Yokohama Port, where an onboard COVID-19 outbreak begins to escalate. As the number of symptomatic passengers rises, the Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) is mobilized to manage the crisis. The film highlights the challenges faced by the team, who are primarily trained for natural disasters such as earthquakes, as they navigate the complexities of a public health emergency.
The story centers on Hideharu Yuki (Shun Oguri), a DMAT leader, and government official Nobutaka Tatematsu (Tori Matsuzaka), who coordinate the response from headquarters. Meanwhile, medical personnel including Doctor Yukiyoshi Sendo (Yosuke Kubozuka) and Haruto Sanada (Sosuke Ikematsu) board the vessel to provide direct care.
