Freeter, Ie wo Kau (Japanese: フリーター、家を買う。) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on Fuji TV from October 19 to December 21, 2010. Based on the novel by Hiro Arikawa, the series explores themes of employment, family dynamics, and personal growth in contemporary Japan.

Plot Synopsis
The story follows Seiji Take (played by Kazunari Ninomiya), a young man who struggles to find direction after quitting his job shortly after starting. Lacking financial stability and motivation, he experiences significant conflict with his father, eventually leading to a period of social withdrawal. When his mother suffers from depression, Seiji is compelled to seek employment, eventually taking a part-time position at a construction company. Initially viewing the work as a temporary necessity, his perspective shifts as he interacts with his colleagues, including site supervisor Manami Chiba (Karina). Through these professional and personal challenges, Seiji begins to rebuild his life and outlook.
