Fragile (2016 Japanese TV Drama)

Fragile (Japanese: フラジャイル) is a Japanese medical drama series that aired on Fuji TV from January 13 to March 16, 2016. The series consists of 10 episodes and was broadcast on Wednesday nights at 22:00. The drama is based on the manga series of the same name, written by Bin Kusamizu and illustrated by Saburo Megumi, which began serialization in the monthly seinen magazine Monthly Afternoon in 2014.

Plot

The story centers on Keiichiro Kishi, a highly skilled but eccentric pathologist. Unlike many medical professionals who interact directly with patients, Kishi focuses on the diagnostic process through laboratory analysis. Despite his reputation for being self-centered and difficult to work with, his ability to provide accurate diagnoses without seeing patients makes him an essential, albeit controversial, figure in the hospital.
