Evilive (South Korean Drama Series)

Evilive (Korean: 악인전기; RR: Akinjeonki) is a South Korean crime drama television series that premiered on October 14, 2023. The series was broadcast on the ENA network and Genie TV. The narrative centers on the moral descent of a lawyer who becomes entangled with a dangerous criminal organization.

Plot

The story follows Han Dong-Soo (played by Shin Ha-Kyun), a lawyer who typically handles cases for clients in need. While he maintains a rational and composed exterior, he harbors a latent dark side. His life takes a drastic turn after he accepts a case involving Seo Do-Young (Kim Young-Kwang), the second-in-command of a criminal syndicate. Seo Do-Young, a former baseball player, masks his unpredictable and cruel nature behind a polished appearance. As Han Dong-Soo becomes increasingly involved with Seo, he begins to cross ethical boundaries, leading to his transformation into a criminal figure. His half-brother, Han Beom-Jae (Shin Jae-Ha), who works at a computer shop and acts as a case broker for Dong-Soo, becomes the first to notice his brother's disturbing behavioral changes.
