Etsushi Toyokawa
Etsushi Toyokawa (born March 18, 1962) is a Japanese actor born in Yao, Osaka. Standing 186cm tall, he has maintained a prolific career in the Japanese entertainment industry since the late 1980s, appearing in a wide range of film and television productions.

Career
Toyokawa's filmography spans several decades and genres, ranging from historical dramas to contemporary thrillers. He gained significant recognition for his role in the 1995 film Love Letter. His versatility as an actor has led to collaborations with various directors and appearances in high-profile projects, including the 20th Century Boys trilogy (2008–2009), where he portrayed the character Otcho, and the Kingdom film series.
In addition to his film work, Toyokawa has been a consistent presence in Japanese television dramas. His notable television appearances include the 2024 Netflix series Tokyo Swindlers, where he played Harrison Yamanaka, and the 2018 NHK drama Half Blue Sky. He also directed the 2006 television production Romance Story.

Toyokawa has received several accolades for his performances in Japanese cinema. He was awarded Best Actor at the 35th Hochi Film Awards in 2010 for his roles in A Good Husband and Sword of Desperation. He received the Best Actor award at the 32nd Yokohama Film Festival in 2011 and the 7th Osaka Cinema Festival in 2012 for his work in Post Card.
