Elephant in the Room (Korean: 방 안의 코끼리; RR: Bang Anui Kokkiri) is a 2016 South Korean omnibus film produced by KAFA Films. The project consists of three distinct short films, each directed by a different filmmaker, exploring varied themes through separate narratives.

Segments

The film is structured into three segments:

  • Chicken Game: Directed by Kwon Chil-in, this segment follows an actress, an import car dealer, and a mysterious man who find themselves hanging off a seashore cliff, engaging in a desperate game of survival.
  • Second Account: Directed by Park Soo-young, the story centers on In-Kyung, an office worker who engages in casual encounters arranged via social media. Her routine is disrupted when a man from her past appears, prompting her to search for him.
  • Lucid Dream: Directed by Kwon Ho-young, this segment features Ji-Sub, a secret agent capable of entering the dreams of his clients to resolve cases. During an investigation, he is ambushed and encounters a mysterious figure.

Elephant in the Room was produced by KAFA Films and distributed by Indiestory. The film has a total runtime of 100 minutes and was released in South Korea on March 3, 2016.
