Eiji Okuda
Eiji Okuda (born March 18, 1950) is a Japanese actor and film director. Born in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, he has maintained a prolific career in the Japanese entertainment industry, spanning several decades of film and television performances.

Acting Career
Okuda began his acting career in the late 1970s. Throughout his career, he has appeared in a wide array of film and television projects. His filmography includes roles in Dirty Hero (1982), The Sea and Poison (1986), Death of a Tea Master (1989), and Pride (1998). In recent years, he has continued to work in both film and television, with notable appearances in the 99.9 Criminal Lawyer series and various NHK Taiga dramas.
Directing and Screenwriting
In addition to his work as an actor, Okuda has directed and written several feature films. His directorial work often explores complex human narratives. Notable films he has directed include An Adolescent (2001), Runin: Banished (2004), A Long Walk (2006), and Out of the Wind (2007). For several of these projects, he also served as the screenwriter.
Personal Life
Eiji Okuda is the father of the actress Sakura Ando. His son-in-law is the actor Tasuku Emoto.
