Dr. Chocolate
Dr. Chocolate is a Japanese television drama series that aired on NTV from April 22 to June 24, 2023. The series follows the story of an underground medical team led by a former doctor and a young girl with extraordinary surgical skills.

Plot
The narrative centers on Tetsuya Noda (played by Kentaro Sakaguchi), a former medical intern who once trained under the cardiac surgeon Koichi Terashima. Two years prior to the start of the series, Koichi Terashima and his wife were murdered, an event that also resulted in Noda losing his right hand. Following the tragedy, Noda takes responsibility for the couple's 8-year-old daughter, Yui Terashima (Noa Shiroyama).
Noda and Yui form an illegal, secret surgery team. Yui, known as "Dr. Chocolate," is a medical prodigy who developed advanced surgical techniques through her father's influence. The team operates in the shadows, requiring a fee of 100 million yen, a strict non-disclosure agreement, and chocolate to accept a case. Their primary motivation for these high-stakes operations is to uncover the truth behind the murder of Yui's parents.
Production and Broadcast
The series was broadcast on NTV's Saturday 22:00 time slot. It followed the conclusion of Captured Hospital and was succeeded by The Greatest Teacher in July 2023. The drama spanned 10 episodes and featured a large ensemble cast, including Nanase Nishino, Yuki Saito, and Yukiyoshi Ozawa.
