Downfall (1997 Film)
Downfall (Korean: 노는 계집 창; RR: Chang) is a 1997 South Korean drama film directed and written by Im Kwon-taek. The film explores the life of Young-eun, a woman who enters the sex industry at the age of 17 and continues to work within it as she ages. The narrative follows her experiences as she navigates the hardships of her profession and her intermittent relationship with a man named Kil-ryong, who provides brief moments of solace in her life.
