Dirty Hearts (2012 Film)

Dirty Hearts (Portuguese: Corações Sujos) is a 2012 Brazilian drama-thriller film directed by Vicente Amorim. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Fernando Morais and explores the experiences of Japanese immigrants living in Brazil in the immediate aftermath of World War II.

Production and Release

The film was produced by Vicente Amorim, Gil Ribeiro, Joao Daniel Tikhomiroff, and Michel Tikhomiroff, with cinematography by Rodrigo Monte. It features a screenplay written by David França Mendes. The film, which has a runtime of 90 minutes, was released in Brazil on June 1, 2012. The dialogue is presented in both Portuguese and Japanese.

Reception
