Death's Game

Death's Game (Korean: 이재, 곧 죽습니다; RR: Yijae, Got Jookseummida) is a South Korean fantasy drama series directed by Ha Byung-hoon. The series is based on the webcomic Yije Got Jookseummida, written by Lee Won-sik and illustrated by Ggoolchan, which was serialized on Naver from 2019 to 2020.

Plot

The story follows Choi Yee-jae, a man who has struggled for seven years to secure stable employment. Overwhelmed by despair and financial hardship, he decides to end his own life. Following his death, he encounters a supernatural entity known as Death. As punishment for his act, Death forces him to undergo the experience of dying twelve more times through various other lives. To avoid eternal damnation in Hell, Yee-jae must survive these experiences.

Production and Release

The series was produced for the streaming platform TVING. It consists of eight episodes, which were released in two parts: the first four episodes premiered on December 15, 2023, followed by the final four episodes on January 5, 2024.
