Daichi Watanabe: Japanese Actor and Musician
Daichi Watanabe (渡辺大知, born August 8, 1990) is a Japanese actor and musician from Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. He is widely recognized for his work in Japanese cinema and television dramas, as well as his musical career as a member of the Japanese rock band Kuroneko Chelsea.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Watanabe launched into public prominence early in his career both through his musical pursuits and acting debut. He became a member of the Japanese rock band Kuroneko Chelsea, establishing a presence in the Japanese independent and mainstream music scenes.
Acting Career and Filmography
Watanabe transitioned successfully into acting across film and television. In 2009, he starred in Oh, My Buddha! (Shikisoku Zenereishon). His performance earned him critical recognition, resulting in the Rookie of the Year award at the 33rd Japan Academy Prize ceremony in March 2010.
Over the following decades, Watanabe appeared in numerous motion pictures and television series. His film credits include roles in I am a Monk (2015), Asako I & II (2018), Noise (2022), and Ichiko (2023).
