Control: Criminal Psychology Investigation (Japanese: CONTROL~犯罪心理捜査~) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on Fuji TV from January 11 to March 22, 2011. The series follows the professional relationship between a police detective and a psychology professor as they solve complex criminal cases.
Plot
The story centers on Detective Rio Segawa, an officer at the Oimachi Police Precinct. After recovering from a gunshot wound sustained during a pursuit, she is transferred to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Violent Crimes Division. Upon her arrival, she is tasked with working alongside Jun Nagumo, a professor of psychology at Ryonan University. Nagumo utilizes his expertise in human behavioral psychology to assist the police in analyzing criminal motives and patterns, often providing unique insights that traditional investigative methods overlook.
