Confession (2019 South Korean TV Series)
Confession (Korean: 자백; RR: Jabaek) is a South Korean crime thriller television series that aired on the cable network tvN from March 23 to May 12, 2019. The series consists of 16 episodes and was directed by Kim Cheol-kyu with a screenplay by Im Hee-cheol.

Plot
The narrative centers on the legal principle of double jeopardy, which prohibits a person from being prosecuted twice for the same offense. Choi Do-hyun (played by Lee Joon-ho) is a lawyer who seeks to uncover the truth behind his father's murder conviction. As a child, Choi suffered from heart disease and spent much of his youth in a hospital. Following a successful heart transplant, his father was accused of murder and sentenced to death, a verdict that Choi works to challenge as an adult.
