Boyfriend Kourin!

Boyfriend Kourin! (Japanese: ボーイフレンド降臨!) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TV Asahi from October 15 to December 17, 2022. The series consists of nine episodes and was broadcast in the Saturday 23:00–23:30 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Kashiko Chatani, a 35-year-old woman working at a small advertising agency who struggles with low self-esteem and desires a stable life. Her former high school friend, Wataru Sato, is an actress in a small theater company. The two women, who had become estranged over the years, are reunited by the appearance of a mysterious young man who has lost his memory following an accident.

Unable to recall his identity, the man is named Asahi by Wataru. Asahi eventually begins working at the same advertising agency as Kashiko, where his engaging personality earns him the favor of his colleagues.
