Borderless: Kouiki Idou Sousatai (Japanese: ボーダレス 広域移動捜査隊) is a Japanese television drama series broadcast on TV Asahi. The series focuses on the operations of a specialized police unit designed to handle jurisdictional conflicts and crimes spanning multiple administrative boundaries.

Premise and Concept

When crimes occur across different jurisdictions or when suspects move between areas, jurisdictional friction often develops between the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, local police stations, and prefectural police headquarters. To mitigate these conflicts and respond rapidly, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department establishes the Wide Area Mobile Investigation Division, a unit operating out of a mobile truck and comprising seven detectives.

The series is written by Ryoichi Kimizuka and directed by Kazunari Hoshino and Keita Motohashi. It premiered on TV Asahi on April 8, 2026, airing in the Wednesday 21:00 to 21:54 time slot. The drama took over the time slot previously occupied by Aibou: Season 24.
