Be My Guest (2011 Film)
Be My Guest (Korean: 죽이러 갑니다; RR: Jukireo Kapnida) is a 2011 South Korean film directed and written by Park Soo-young. The film premiered at the 14th Pusan International Film Festival in 2009 before its theatrical release in South Korea on January 20, 2011.
Plot
The story follows a company president, Mr. Uhm, who is on a picnic with his family. The outing is interrupted by the arrival of a former employee, Mr. Kim, who holds a family member hostage. Mr. Kim demands an apology and financial compensation for his previous dismissal. While the president's family members plead with him to resolve the situation peacefully, Mr. Uhm's reaction to the hostage-taker is complex and unexpected.
