Bachelor's Vegetable Store (Korean: 총각네 야채가게; RR: Chonggagne Yachaegage) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on Channel A from December 21, 2011, to March 8, 2012. The series consists of 24 episodes and was broadcast on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Background and Production

The drama is inspired by the true story of entrepreneur Lee Young-suk. Lee began his career selling vegetables from a small street stall in 1998 and eventually expanded his business into a successful chain of 33 vegetable stores across South Korea. The production of the series officially began on November 11, 2011. The show was directed by Lee Joon-hyeong and written by Yoon Sung-hee.

Cast

The series features an ensemble cast, including Ji Chang-wook, who portrays the lead character, Han Tae-yang, as an adult. Other notable cast members include Wang Ji-hye, who plays Mok Jin-sim, and Lee Se-young, who portrays Tae-yang's younger sister, Tae-in.
