Babel is a South Korean television series that aired on the network TV Chosun in 2019. The drama, which spans 16 episodes, explores themes of revenge, mystery, and complex interpersonal relationships within a wealthy family setting.

Plot

The story centers on Cha Woo-hyuk, a prosecutor driven by a desire for revenge. His life becomes deeply entangled with Han Jung-won, an actress married to a member of a prominent chaebol family. As the narrative progresses, Woo-hyuk finds himself investigating a murder case where Jung-won is identified as a primary suspect, forcing him to navigate the conflict between his professional duties and his personal feelings.

Production

The series was directed by Yun Seong-sik, with a screenplay written by Kwon Soon-won and Park Sang-wook. The production held its first script reading on November 20, 2018, at the TV Chosun Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea.
