Atom no Ko

Atom no Ko (Japanese: アトムの童, English title: Atom's Last Shot) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TBS from October 16 to December 11, 2022. The series consists of nine episodes and was broadcast in the Sunday 21:00 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Nayuta Azumi, a talented independent game developer known in the industry by the pseudonym "Jon Dou." Following a past incident, he has stepped away from game development. The narrative centers on a long-established toy company facing bankruptcy. In a desperate attempt to revitalize their business, the company's management decides to pivot toward video game development. Lacking the necessary expertise and capital, they seek out the elusive Jon Dou to lead their new endeavor.
