Another Way (2017 Film)

Another Way (Korean: 다른 길이 있다; RR: Dareun Gili Itda) is a South Korean drama film released on January 19, 2017. The film was written and directed by Cho Chang-Ho and produced by No Il-Hwan. It features cinematography by Lee Sung-Jae and was distributed by MOVement.

Plot

The story follows Soo-Wan (played by Kim Jae-Wook), a police officer struggling with the psychological burden of his father's delusions regarding his late mother. Seeking an escape, he travels to the city of Chuncheon. There, he encounters Jung-Won (played by Seo Yea-Ji), a woman who is also facing significant personal hardships. The two characters cross paths while both are at a low point in their lives.

Production

Principal photography for Another Way commenced on January 18, 2015, in Chuncheon, South Korea. The film had its world premiere at the 20th Busan International Film Festival in October 2015, where it was screened as part of the Korean Cinema Today: Vision section.

Actor Kim Jae-Wook — Kim Jae-Wook portrays the character Soo-Wan.
