The drama is based on the webcomic of the same name written and illustrated by Shoko Rakuta. The original source material was serialized on the comic POOL platform between August 9, 2019, and October 2, 2020. The television adaptation was directed by Nobuyoshi Yamada and Masafumi Asami, with a screenplay by Satoko Okazaki.
