A Story of Yonosuke (2013 Film)
A Story of Yonosuke (Japanese: 横道世之介, Romaji: Yokomichi Yonosuke) is a 2013 Japanese drama film directed by Shuichi Okita. The film is based on the novel of the same name by author Shuichi Yoshida, which was serialized in the Mainichi Shimbun between 2008 and 2009 before being published in book form in September 2009.

Plot
Set in the 1980s, the narrative follows Yonosuke Yokomichi (played by Kengo Kora), a college student who moves from the port city of Nagasaki to Tokyo. The story explores his experiences as a young adult and his relationship with Shoko Yosano (Yuriko Yoshitaka), the daughter of a company president.
Production and Release
The film was produced by Toshikazu Nishigaya and features cinematography by Ryuto Kondo. It was released in Japan on February 23, 2013, with a runtime of 160 minutes. The film was distributed by Showgate.
