100 Days My Prince

100 Days My Prince (Korean: 백일의 낭군님; RR: Baekilui Nanggoonnim) is a South Korean television series that aired on tvN from September 10 to October 30, 2018. The historical drama consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast in the Monday and Tuesday 21:30 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Lee Yool, a Crown Prince who mysteriously disappears from the palace. He returns one hundred days later, leaving his whereabouts during that period a mystery. During his absence, he encounters Hong-sim, a woman who operates a private detective agency in the Joseon era.

Production

The series was directed by Lee Jong-jae and Nam Sung-woo, with a screenplay written by No Ji-sul. The first script reading for the production took place in March 2018 in Sangam-dong, Seoul. The series replaced Let's Eat 3 in its time slot and was succeeded by Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter on November 5, 2018. The characters, including the protagonist Lee Yool, are fictional.
